Zingwangwa Secondary School
Zingwangwa Secondary School, has over 1,300 children, aged 13 - 18; the children attend school in 2 daily sittings to ensure all students are able to study. Previously the school had just 10 computers which the students had to share in their computer studies class. The school's new computer lab, refurbished by ITSA, has been fully equipped with 40 networked computers, in a spacious, specifically designed room which will greatly improve the student's learning environment.
The team in Malawi, NGO Computers for Malawian Schools worked through the night to get the computer lab ready for the students when they returned to school after the summer holidays. They did an excellent job and the students spoke to the UK team in Cheltenham over a live Skype link to tell them what they thought of their new computer room.
