Volunteer

Volunteering is at the heart of what we do. We welcome, support, train and nurture people that volunteer with us from all walks of life. They make our work possible and they benefit personally.

Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds;
  • Back to work placements
  • Community volunteers
  • School work experience
  • Students with special needs

We are looking for volunteers to work in our Cheltenham IT workshop assisting with computer refurbishment and helping to increase the through flow of computers ready to send to Africa. We also have office based roles in marketing and general administration. If you are interested in learning about IT, or if you already have skills in IT we would love to hear from you. Join our friendly and enthusiastic team who share a passion for technology and making a difference to lives in Africa.
"My corporate volunteering experience at ITSA was very positive, helping the community and helping other people and it was exactly like I imagined. I hope to do this again next year."

"I am now more confident and I am getting used to a proper work environment. I think my experience with ITSA will be helpful in my future, especially if I am offered a job in IT. The staff are very friendly and good with people like me, with disabilities."

We also need people who would be happy to promote the charity, perhaps attend events, talk to schools or help in our fundraising office.  For more information about volunteering opportunities or how you can help please contact Simon Richardson.

We would love to hear from you!
