The environment

Reuse of computers is the best form of recycling, and donating computers to ITSA helps to preserve the environment as well as meeting all your legal obligations.

We are registered with the Environmental Agency and are fully compliant with WEEE regulations.

Reusing IT equipment saves energy and resources, prevents hazardous materials from ending up in landfill and is 20 times more effective at saving life cycle energy use than recycling.

In Africa we work with distribution partners to ensure the computers are recycled at end-of-life. We encourage schools to return their old equipment when it has stopped working so we can either repair it or send it to be recycled.
