"After 3 weeks in Malawi the students I have talked to have shown a deep interest in computers. The response from the students is remarkable, despite facing challenges related to poor internet access and power shortages. Many students first exposure to computers is using them in one of the IT labs provided by ITSA. Their computer skills are very basic but they understand that they need to learn to use the computers in order to get a good job and as a result they are both eager and motivated to learn. Some teachers will use resources on the computers for their classes which greatly improves the quality of lessons, however, this takes time as the schools have to get used to integrating computers into different subjects.
