Lilanda School e-Learning lab
Lilanda School is a large co-educational school in an inner-city suburb of Lusaka, Zambia with 2,517 students enrolled. The school is classified a basic school and caters for primary and junior students. Basic schools facilitate pupils continuing their education up to grade 9 who cannot get into a secondary school, either due to location or affordability.
The school had just 4 computers before we donated a complete e-Learning lab, officially opened on June 23rd 2017.
The students will gain access to IT for the first time and can now take their classes in a room conducive to learning, supporting them in receiving quality education through e-Learning.

The students were so happy to see their new lab they performed a short poem to show their appreciation!
The prospect of having a computer each is so exciting for the students, as usually most of the ICT lesson is taught as theory. The students write their notes rather than actually using a computer. |
