Fundraise

We rely on the help of our supporters so we can reach more people in Africa to give them access to IT education.
Fundraise for us using Virgin Money Giving
If you would like to do some fundraising for us please email contact@itschoolsafrica.org and we'll be happy to help. You can also create a page using VirginMoneyGiving, to make it easier for people sponsor you. They make their donations online which will automatically be transferred to our account when you have finished fundraising.
If you would like to support one of our current fundraisers please click the button.
Find a fundraiser
We hope that however you are able to support us you will also benefit, whether it's getting fit to do a sponsored activity, meeting new people or learning a new skill!
Active living for active giving!
Organise a walk, jog, bike-a-thon with your university/college or office.  Choose a total length of time (e.g. 12 hours) and plan shifts so groups can take turns doing the activity.  Ask friends and family to sponsor you and support you - and even join in.  A great way to get fit and give to a good cause.

Fit for life!
Earn some donations
You could offer to help people with odd jobs – take dogs for walks, babysit, do ironing for friends and family. This way, people get something in return for their donation and may be more generous.
Get baking
Try baking your own cakes or cookies, it can be fun and very tasty! Sell cakes to friends, at work, or have a cake sale at home and ask your neighbours to bake a cake too – who can say no to a cupcake with their cuppa?

Have a car boot sale
Sort out old clothes or unwanted gifts, then ask for donations or sell them on eBay or at a car boot sale. If you tell people where the money will be going, they may even chip in a bit more for the things you’re selling.
Organise a local pub quiz night
Hold a quiz night at your local pub, invite all your friends to join you and even ask the pub to donate the prize.  You could theme the questions around Africa or hold a special round on Africa and really test everyone's knowledge!
