Donate your working IT equipment
Please support our African and UK Programmes by donating working IT equipment. Technology for education and participation is now more important than ever. IT Schools Africa has been sending refurbished computer equipment to schools in Africa since 2004. To ensure the equipment has a further extended life of 5 or more years, we aim to send only good quality equipment to our country programmes.
Equipment must be in good working order and no more than 7 years old.
Please click here for a list of all the equipment we can accept.
Please note we are not currently accepting phones, tablets, IPads, scanners, servers,
CRT monitors and no PC with Vista or XP
If you have some equipment and you are unsure if it can be donated please give us a call
01242 228800 or email us contact@itschoolsafrica.org. For any equipment that we can't accept please contact your local civic amenity centre to find out about recycling collections in your area.

Data security is our top priority
We take security very seriously and to ensure all data is wiped from the machines we use specialist approved software by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The NCSC provides guidance to the public and private sector on information assurance. We can provide data erasure certificates upon request. |
We are registered with the Environment Agency and are fully compliant with WEEE regulations.
Where possible we send all working equipment to Africa, however for equipment that is not suitable, is damaged or has missing parts we will recycle or resell in the UK. The proceeds are used by the charity to further develop its work in Africa.
