Brother Paul goes the extra 200 miles!
Brother Paul has surpassed the call of duty once again (his sixth visit) by driving all the way from St Albans to Cheltenham with a donation of computers. He is a monk who teaches IT at St Columba's College, a Catholic Independent day school for boys providing a broad, high quality education from age 4 to18. The Catholic aim of compassionate service is borne out by their motto of ‘Cor ad cor Loquitur’ – heart speaking to heart. Paul was very knowledgeable about the importance of sending computers to Africa, as the college has connections with Shitama Basic School in the central Zambian provence of Kabwe. We'd like to thank Brother Paul and St Columba's College for their continuing support - without schools and colleges like this we just wouldn't be able to fulfil our mission to give African children the opportunity to learn Information Technology. |
