Rotary International 2009 a success PDF Print E-mail
Thousands of Rotarians from across the world gathered at Birmingham NEC for the annual Rotary International Convention 20-24 June and IT Schools Africa was there to greet them.

rotary2009.jpgITSA's stand in the Hall of Friendship attracted a great deal of interest from Rotarians from across the world.  Visitors from countries as far apart as Bangaldesh, Swaziland and Columbia expressed strong interest in starting computer distribution programmes in the their home countries.   There was also strong support from UK clubs interested in collecting computers or fundraising for ITSA.

We would like to record our thanks to the Rotarians from Cheltenham who helped man the stand, to Steve Arnold from Maple Rock for design work, to Blooms of Bressingham (Prestbury) for the donation flowers and Rotarian Allan Berry (centre right) for much hard work.
