Briggs Equipment saves ITSA's forklift

Engineers from Briggs Equipment (UK) have donated their time and equipment to repair IT Schools Africa's forklift.

When one of the main motors on the forklift burnt out in late January it was a mini-disaster for ITSA.  The charity depends on the forklift for moving pallets and loading containers of computers for Africa.

A high powered team comprising of a Field Service Manager and two Team Leaders from Briggs Equipment decided to go back on the tools to replace the motor.  Clive Rogers, Paul Morrissey and Paul Dickson are pictured below right after completing the job.   The replacement traction motor was donated by TVH UK Ltd.

Tim Barnes, Programme Director commented "The forklift is an essential bit of kit for us and life has been difficult without it. We really appreciate Clive, Paul and Paul's efforts and are very grateful to both Briggs Equipment (UK) and TVH UK for their generosity in making this happen. It's great to have the forklift back in action."
