Cheltenham-based charity IT Schools Africa have shipped 450 computers to schools in Malawi.
Press Cutting: Glos Echo, August 15th 2007
ITSA, along with Computers for African Schools, have now sent 12,000 to the deprived nation. The computers will be distributed to state and mission secondary schools around the country. Each school will get 10 computers as well as It teacher training and technical support.
Without the support, children in Malawi would not have access to IT, as the cost of equipment is too expensive for schools.
