Sir Bob Geldorf visited the IT Schools Africa stand at the SWGfL Conference in Bristol.
IT Schools Africa were the nominated charity for the South-West Grid for Learning conference on 7th June. Sir Bob was the keynote speaker, and made a special detour to our stand to ask questions about the work we carry out in Africa. He was impressed with our projects, so much so that he mentioned us in his speech to the delegates at the end of the day. This was excellent publicity for our cause, and should reinforce the drive to raise our profile with schools in the South-West.
