Kylie DunnThe donation was facilitated by Kylie Dunn, BSI’s Global IT Co-ordinator who commented:

We are very pleased to be able to make this donation. BSI has a strong environmental policy and we believe IT Schools Africa’s programme offers a responsible way of re-using IT equipment. It’s great to know these laptops will have a second life in African schools for a number of years to come".

Tim Barnes, IT Schools Africa Programme Director said of the donation “We are delighted with this donation and very grateful to BSI for their generosity.  It is significant because these laptops will enable us to equip more schools that rely solely on solar power.  They will also be useful for more remote locations where transporting desktops can be a problem”
