Forklift truck to raise education standards in Africa

 
Cheltenham-based charity IT Schools Africa (ITSA) which sends recycled computers to African schools to create positive lives through education, has been donated a second hand forklift truck by ADC KRONE, leading worldwide suppliers of broadcast and software equipment.

The ITSA-CFAS programme – a collaboration between ITSA and Computers for African Schools (CFAS) - sent 450 computers to Malawi in June, which means the programme has now sent a total of 12,000 computers to Africa.

New ITSA Training and Education Centre PDF Print E-mail

Spearheaded by Monis Khalifa, IT Manager for ITSA, a new training and education centre was opened in June 2007 at ITSAs headquarters in Leckhampton, Cheltenham. Monis teaches computer refurbishment and IT skills to unemployed, disadvantaged and disabled people on work experience placements.
